The Operatives of the Ogun State Police Command has arrested an Herbalist Tunde Banjo, and an alfa, Nurudeen Adeniyi for the alleged killing of a 16-year-old-girl identified only as Olayinka.
The duo was nabbed in Ijebu Igbo, Ijebu North Local Government Area of the state. One Tobi Ogunkoya, who allegedly lured the girl into the hands of the two suspects, has also been arrested.
According to a reliable source the breast of the victim was severed.
The state acting Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, who confirmed the incident, said at about 2.30pm, one Serifat Adebanjo reported Olayinka’s abduction to the police in Ago Iwoye station, alleging that Ogunkoya was a suspect in the abduction.
Oyeyemi said that the police stormed the house of Ogunkoya after being tipped of his involvement in the crime. Ogunkoya confessed that Olayinka was being held hostage in Banjo’s custody in Ijebu Igbo.
Two fresh human hearts and a live tortoise were found in their possession. Banjo confessed to the police the girl had already being killed, her breast and other vital organ severed while her body was disposed into the Ogbere River, in the Ijebu East Local Government area of the state.
