Nollywood actor cum Politician, Honourable Desmond Elliot, is seriously laying good foundation for himself and putting smiles to his Surulere constituency that gave him their mandate.

The actor recently shocked a woman who has been seen sleeping under a water tank he renovated some months back as she was homeless.

The woman, whose name was given as Shola, is a laundry cleaner and has been sleeping under the tank for a while to the extent that she used her money to buy a gen set to power the water which people in the area also benefit from.

Desmond was notified about the woman and he silently got the woman an apartment, fully equipped as she is yet to be handed the key of the house.

According to Ismael who revealed what the Honourable has been up to, he wrote, “Today I was at Surulere and I saw ‘Desmond Elliot’ paying back a woman that is giving back to the society. The woman washing cloth in this picture is a local dry cleaner on Iluseyi street.

The water tank was renovated by Desmond. Recently the woman used her money to buy Gen to power the water. Funny enough, this woman sleeps beside the water tank. She’s homeless.  Desmond was informed and guess what? Today Desmond handed an equipped 1 room apartment in the community for the woman. She’s yet to be informed.”
