Many have died due to the carelessness of some doctors who claims to be qualified medical practitioner.
There have been cases of people who have lost their dear lives due to negligence or forgetfulness of our doctors.
A recent occurrence took place in Ikorudu part of Lagos when two doctors, age 53 and 43 from St. Raphael Divine Mercy Specialist Hospital were arraigned for the death of a patient they operated on.
Although the cause of the operation wasn’t mentioned, but it was said that the duo forgot a towel inside the patient which eventually led to the death of the person.
After been arraigned at Igbosere Magistrates’ Court in Lagos, the duo denied the allegation and was granted bail of 500,000 each with two sureties in like sum.
The next hearing of the case would take place on the 9th of September 2016, and the family of the deceased is hopeful that justice would be served.
