The Delta State Government has decided to immortalize the late ex-Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi, who died in June.
Barrister Kingsley Otuaro, Deputy Governor, who confirmed this during his address at the funeral mass which took place at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Illah described Keshi as a good Ambassador of the state who would be honoured for his sacrificial contribution to the development of football in the country.
“The government of Delta state is already working out modalities to immortalise our dear skippo because he brought so much excellence into the game of football and we are very proud of him,
“As Nigerians, we cannot in a hurry forget the contributions he has made to our nation. He came, saw and conquered. Adieu, the Big Boss,” he said.
