Nigerian comedian, Funny Bone, has come out to state that the comedy industry is one area where comedians just need to keep supporting each other and not depend solely on money.

The comedian while speaking with Hiptv, stated that there are some shows he participate in that he does not collect money from the comedian that organized the show because the fellow may have supported him while coming up in the industry.

He noted that if he does not collect money, the fellow comedian does not need to charge him also to be at his own show either as the industry is one that has been built around friends and families.

In his words, “The comedy industry is one that is unified; it’s one that is tied with friends and family. I don’t need you to pay me to be on your show if I call you my friend and you don’t need to pay me to be on your show. So we just need to support each other. I go out to support those who support me and those who I think I should support. There are colleagues that will call me and I will say pay me and there are those I will say don’t worry you were there for me, it happens everywhere in the world.”
