Last weekend, ace comedian cum radio station operator, Uche Ogbuagu got decorated with yet another award in faraway London.
This time, the Akabo-Ikeduru born entertainer was nominated and recognized for propagating and promoting African culture through entertainment.
The well publicized award night held at the 4, 000 capacity Oasis Banqueting Hall Barking London, and it attracted successful artistes, eminent personalities from Africa, Caribbean and Wales.
It could be recalled that Uche Ogbuagu, otherwise known as Mr. Talkinson was last year licensed by the NBC to operate a full-fledged commercial Radio station in Imo state.
Today, and according to sources, the station known as, MyRadio FM, 100.9 in Owerri has started operations, thus ranking Uche Ogbuagu the first Nigerian artiste to own a radio station, alongside great artistes like Papa Wemba, Yousuf Ndour and Hugh Masakela, all who are African entertainers who have changed the rhythm from building joints, brothels to setting up Radio stations.
