Nigeria as a country still mourns the passing away of one of the countries achiever, who have contributed tremendously on the growth of our sport sector.

As an honor for his good deeds in the nation, Nigerian supporters club are urging the government to name a stadium in the country after his name.

Dr Rufai Oladipo, who is the president of Nigerian football supporters club,(NFSC) has suggested the the former late super eagles coach needs to be honored and remembered for his feat.

Speaking with the news agency of Nigeria (NAN), he said: “Naming a stadium after Keshi would serve as a befitting honor for the player who won the nations cup for Nigeria as a captain and as a coach. He achieved the same feat as Clement Westerhof, who won nations cup for the first time for Nigeria as the super eagles coach in 1994 in Tunisia.”
