Kcee’s elder brother and Five star record boss, E-Money along with Kcee were guests at the wedding of Nollywood’s actor, Mike Ezuronye’s sister which took place over the weekend.
Mike’s younger sister, Chika, got married on Saturday April 9th, and during the couple’s dance, Five Star CEO, E-Money sprayed tons of money on the couple as his older brother, KCee performed.
Some people gave the analysis that the amount E-money sprayed at the wedding was about N1million. This is not the first time E-money is doing this as he has continued to ignore the order of the Nigerian government about spraying of money.
Some weeks back, E-money was seen spraying King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal at a club with tons of notes and till date, government security agencies have been scared calling him for questioning as it is against the law which has been put in place to stop spraying of money at events which is a way abusing the Naira.
In May 2006, President Olusegun Obasanjo had sent a new Central Bank of Nigeria bill to the National Assembly, which seeks to curtail the abuse of the country’s currency.
Spraying of, dancing or marching on the Naira or any note issued by the Bank during social occasions or otherwise howsoever shall constitute an abuse and defacing of the Naira or such note and shall be punishable under the new law.
It shall also be an offence to hawk, sell or otherwise trade in the Naira note or any other note issued by the Bank.
Spraying under the new law includes adorning, decorating anything or any person or any part of any person or the person of another with Naira notes or coins.
The bill also includes sprinkling, sticking of the Naira notes or coins regardless of the amount, occasion or intent.
It also explained “marching” to include spreading, scattering or littering of any surface with any naira notes or coins and stepping thereon.
