The successful and colourful album launch of one of Nigeria’s youngest and most talented female singers from the Niger Delta in the person of Kefee was held at the Niteshift Coliseum, Opebi, Lagos on the 14th of December, 2008. The occasion was graced by a good number of artistes in the entertainment industry with the likes of Stella Damasus Aboderin, Sammy Okposo, Zakky Adze, Lillian Amah, Kenny Saint Brown, Essence, Stella Monye, Mandy, the Vice President, PMAN, Lady Judith Nwachukwu, the Guv’nor of the Niteshift Coliseum, Ken Caleb Olumese, Muma Gee and fashion guru, Mudi. The Delta State Governor was ably represented by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Entertainment and Youth Matters, Barrister Richard Mofe Damijo who unveiled the album.
The event was a South-South affair as the Coliseum was almost turned into Delta State’s legislative house, as there were many members present, such as Chief Amori, Chief Fred Majemite, Captain Chris Onajomo, Chief Igbuya and others.
The launch witnessed the performance of artistes namely Sandra from Rwanda, Phillipa from Ghana, Cash from Gabon, Blue Blaze from Republic of Benin and Cage Ebubedike from Nigeria. It was total support from the people of the Niger Delta as a whooping sum of 5 million nair a cheque was presented to Kefee.
