Elder sister to President Muhammadu Buhari’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adeshina, Professor Foluke Ogunleye, is reportedly dead.
Prof. Ogunleye was said to have died in a fatal car accident.
The deceased, aged 53, was once the head of the department of Dramatic Arts of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, from 2006 to 2009.
She died on Boxing Day, along the Lagos Ibadan Expressway while traveling to Lagos.
Prof. Foluke is reputed for writing plays; Nest in a Cage and Jabulilee. Until her demise, she was also the executive director of Ife International Film Festival of OAU.
