Popular Nollywood director, Teco Benson, has expressed his anger over the wrong perception some youths have about the film industry.

Teco Benson said nowadays, many people want to rush into Nollywood all because of the show part of the industry.

According to him, people who are not in the industry also think things are as easy as they are painted in the media.

“People who watch from outside feel the industry is a bed of roses where you swim with bread and butter, wine and dine with beautiful women. That is the impression, but the truth is, it is not as easy as many believe,” he told NET.

Teco Benson, who has spent about two decades in the film industry, after resigning from his civil service job in 1997, is happy that his decision is paying off and has nothing to regret about.
