Singer Davido, who is currently in South Africa to perform, has just a messy day in the country as he was robbed at Sandton, South Africa.

The singer’s money $55,000 was taken away along with two Rolex wrist watches. Despite his ordeal in the country, the singer maintained that he still has respect for the fans over there. “Still got love for South Africa.”

Shocked at how everything played out, the singer who was travelling without the company of his gang noted that he made a mistake by not going with them as he hopes to now move with them anywhere he goes. “Never traveling without my gang again”

Davido thanked God that the robbers only took away material things as his life was spared. Adding that while the whole scenario was taking place, his “daughter’s face was flashing through” his eyes the whole time.

The singer promised that “I’ll never go another morning without praying.”
