President of the Association of Music Artiste Managers of Nigeria (AMAMN), Sijuade Adedokun, has announced that his group will partner with the Copyright Society of Nigeria (COSON) for its COSON Week, which holds from November 1 to 7, 2015.
In a press statement last week, the group said that it is affiliating with COSON for the celebration because the initiative is laudable.
Adedokun announced the collaboration with COSON after a meeting between the executives of AMAMN and the Chairman of COSON, Chief Tony Okoroji and Captain of COSON On The Street, Dare Fasasi aka Baba Dee.
He said that ‘COSON On The Street,’ which holds on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 symbolizes the “hope and belief, which our various music superstars have in the future of our beloved country and in ourselves as Nigerian citizens.”
The ‘COSON On The Street’ will involve major stakeholders in the music industry including musicians, artiste managers, record label executives and others that are engaging in humanitarian services such as environmental clean-up, traffic control, charity work and other activities in the spirit of Corporate Social Responsibility.
Adedokun, on behalf of AMAMN, not only promised an exciting experience, but a memorable occasion with full participation of his members.
