Legendary Reggae singer, Majek Fashek, is Indeed grateful to God for giving him another opportunity to life after suffering a major setback in his career due to his addiction to stimulants which became a topic of discuss some months back.
Better known as ‘The Rain maker,’ Majek Fashek, was recently one the artistes that thrilled fans in the ongoing Felabration event which is being held at the New African Shrine to celebrate the late Afro-beat singer, Fela anikulapo Kuti, which is scheduled to end today, October 18th, 2015.
He held fans down to some of his great tunes while some were in tears of joy for his health as he looked all smiling and healthy while showing how good he still is despite is ordeal with drugs.

The singer while speaking with Nation, was very appreciative to God saying, “I am happy, and give God thanks to be among the living today” while noting that what he has gone through with drugs is actually what is affecting lots of singers in the world.
“From rock music, to highlife, to reggae, it is the same story. Quite often, many entertainers feel that they need to be high on drugs in order to perform,” he pointed.
He also added that he has now created a new habit on how to inspire himself before performing rather than taking drugs.
