Popular Nollywood actor, Yemi Solade, is aging gracefully and at 55, he still does not look it. All thanks to the kind of family he came from which according to him is hereditary.

Since quitting smoking about 15 years ago, the actor has been able to remain at the very best of health as he is seen less gracing red carpet events.

Being an ambassador of the Nigerian Entertainment Health Insurance Scheme (NEHIS), Yemi believes that for one to have a good health, he needs to learn how to take preventive measures to avoid whatever sickness from attacking them.

Not having much believed in herbs despite being a Yoruba man, the actor analyzing the side effect of local herbs as an aphrodisiac to some people is out of his dictionary because it does not work for him.

The actor noted that what works for him is Viagra because he understands how it works rather than go for herbs which he does not know the source whether it was gotten from a grave yard for him to consume.

In his opinion with Newtelegraph on local herbs as a source of stimulant, he said, “Well for aphrodisiac that is a different thing, but for me I can’t use it because it won’t work for me I know the aphrodisiac that will work; there is Viagra, I can control it because I know when you take this one, you will be told either you take it 30 minutes before you go into the act and you know what to expect. I won’t take local herbs because you don’t know where they cut the stick from, may be from the cemetery or other places. Ordinarily it may work for them but I am so sure it can never work for me.”
