One of Nigerian surviving singing duo, Artquake, have struggled so hard in the buzzing Nigerian music industry to sustain their relationship as musicians even in the midst of troubled waters which they have successfully kept away from the public.

With a friendship that has spanned about 20 years, the singers in a recent interview disclosed that they have been able to remain together because they learn to tolerate each other.

The group which comprises of ADX, real name Adegbite Adeniran and ICE-K real name Tomomewo Olakunle, while on popular entertainment programme on TVC, Entertainment Splash, monitored by Nigeriafilms.com, stated that things have not been easy but they try to build a good understanding for each other which is why they are able to stay this long.

According to them, “we have been friends for 20 years and we have been business partners for 15 years. We have been able to stay together because we tolerate each other which is why we have been able to stay long. When we have arguments we don’t allow our managers to come in and if he tries to, we shout at him and settle our differences.”

The duo stated their musical career in 1995 while they were in the higher institution and released their debut album in 2000 tittled NEVER ENDING which consist of hit tracks like Abulelawa, Shamagbadun and Any colour.
