Having all forms of inscriptions on some part of the body is becoming rampant among some Nigerian entertainers and they believe that some of those inscriptions depict one or two things in their lives while some have it for fun.

For Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe-Gentry, it is base on personal conviction but she does not see herself having a tattoo because she is a professional.

Mercy explain that natural she does not like anything that will cause her pains of any sort but stressed that even if she decides to have a tattoo now, she will still get fed up about it and will want to remove it.

She noted that as an actor having such inscription to some extent might hinder the person from playing some roles which is not healthy for a professional.

“Maybe it’s because I dread pain. But seriously, I don’t like it on me, because I’m like an insatiable person when it comes to having things like that on my body; today I may like a bird, and the following day I’ll get tired of that and want to change it. And asides that, in my job, you’ll have to play different roles; so it automatically restricts the number of roles you can play in a movie, so I feel as a professional actress, you shouldn’t, maybe to an extent, have a permanent thing on your body,” she said.
