Former PMAN national President, Tee Mac Itsheli, has come out to blast popular cable station, Soundcity, over the said reasons they gave about the P-Square brothers on why they stopped playing their songs.
It would be recalled that some days ago, there was an issue between the cable station and the P-Square brothers after fans had questioned on why their songs were not being played on the station.
Soundcity had alleged that P-square had demanded them to pay for a performance which they were invited by the station in 2014 and they (Soundcity) were not comfortable with the price given to them as they claim to have been part of their success.
Tee Mac while speaking with Tribune on Phone, has called on the station to behave itself and watchout for the wrath of the new PMAN administration as they will soon pounce on them.
He stated that a petition has been filed in by a singer who claimed that they charge artistes heavily before airing their songs which he feels is unethical.
The former music executive stressed that the Souncity is just set out to extort money from artistes as they charge up to about a million naira especially from children of the rich while showing dirty videos to viewers especially the children.
“The station makes money from advertisement so that it can sustain itself. I don’t love the station because of the pornographic contents it feeds the young ones. If they play such bad videos ten times a day, young viewers will begin to take bad for good because nobody is condemning Soundcity. Those you see their videos being played on that station have paid heavily for it. What they do there is wrong.

“That is why the quality of music is reducing as they show thrash at these vulnerable young ones, while these sons of rich Nigerians continue to bribe their way to the top with their bad music. The expensive cars and nude girls they feature in their videos are used to sell their bad music. You pay N500,000 to be played and someone will call you less than a month after that you must come and pay another money as your money had been exhausted. Sometimes these guys pay as much as N1m for three months,” he stated.
