Popular indigenous rapper, Phyno, has revealed who were the major influences in the rise to fame of his career.
In an industry extra efforts will rewards, he highlighted the inspiration drawn from Mc Loph and Niga Raw as the people who he took over from.
“I give credit to Niga Raw, late MC Loaf, they inspired me. I took over from them. I’m still singing in my indigenous language. I’m happy I have inspired a lot of young artistes who are singing in their indigenous languages,” he told a national daily.
He also expressed that he never knew that he was going to be this a success when he began the journey into music as the hurdles were almost insurmountable.
