Sometimes ago, there were speculations that top Yoruba actress, Liz Anjorin, and rapper, Jhybo were having something together. This came after pictures of the two stars in matching attires hit the internet.
However, what some people may not have known was that the photographs were from her music video with the artiste titled ‘Orombo’.
The video was released on the internet, Digital TVs and Terrestrial TVs last Saturday, after its debut on Goldmyne TV.
‘Orombo’ was shot by talented cinematographer, Lakeside of 12digits production, while guest appearances were from Shina Peters, Lanre Omiyinka (Baba Ijesha), Madam Kofo, Toyin Adewale, Dejo Tunfulu, Saheed Abioye among others.
Shot in the serene environment of Lekki Phase 1, ‘Orombo’ video tells the story of Jhybo, who was in love with an imbecile lady, Liz Anjorin.
Jhybo, in the video, deceived his parents, Baba Ijesha and Madam Kofo, by presenting his fiancée’s twin sister to get their blessing.
According to Liz, she plans to drop two videos before the third quarter of 2015.
“We have started working on another video. ‘Orombo’ is a love story and I think it’s a good way to start. I am not new to preaching love towards physically challenged people. I have done that in my movies and doing that through my music is what we have done through ‘Orombo’,” she said.
The actress however maintained that her new single, ‘Farabale’, a club song, will showcase her other side.
“My new single, ‘Farabale’ is another side of me. People will dance in this one. It is a high tempo club banger. I am presently going through dance and choreography rehearsals for the video of ‘Farabale’. People should just watch out,” she also said.
