Sunday, June 21, 2015 was a memorable day for Nigerian artistes under the aegis of Performing Musician Association of Nigeria (PMAN).

The day was set aside for the launch of the body’s Biometric Identity Card, which many said was a dream come true.

The event, which was held at Planet One in Maryland, Lagos, was attended by some popular persons in the Nigerian music industry.

Singer, Konga, who made a surprise appearance at the event after a long absence said he can’t wait to see how the efforts of the musicians will now be rewarded now that the change has come in the industry.

One of the executives of PMAN, Sunny Nneji, described the move as a right step in the right direction, saying creative works will now be better appreciated than ever, adding that artistes can now smile to the bank.

Some of the entertainers present at the launch included, Charly Boy, Sunny Nneji, Baba Dee, Raskimo, Emeka Ike, Konga, Solid Star, Zakky Adzay, Felix Duke and many others.
