Veteran Nollywood actress, Taiwo Ajai-Lycett, was recently honoured at a monthly event, ‘Leadership without Title,’ which was put together by Centre for Values in Leadership (CVL), founded by Prof. Pat Utomi.
While receiving her award, the actress stated that her late husband, Thomas Lycett, has been vindicated because he was the one who encouraged her to come home when she was working as an artiste in England and receiving accolades there.
She explained that her late husband who relocated with her to Nigeria, had told her that the best honour will be the one her people bestow on her which will signify that she is being appreciated in her own soil.
The actress called on entertainers to take their craft more seriously rather than allow people to push them before making moves to achieve a given objective.
