Last Friday, owner of Nigezie TV, Femi Aderibigbe, better known as Kwame, launched his new club called ‘Uptown Lounge’ in Ogba area of Lagos State.

The event was attended by notable faces in the entertainment industry, including DJ Jimmy Jatt, DJ Neptune, DJ Kaywise, Iyabo Ojo, Jahbless, Jaywon, Elajoe, Malaika, Koffi, Denrele, Adunni Ade, Okey Bakassi and many others.

Uptown Lounge, which boasts of a restaurant and a bar, is located on 59, Yaya Abatan, College road, Ogba.

Kwame and his wife, Dorothy, could not hide their joy at the opening of the place. An excited Kwame said, “Uptown is here to stay. My wife paid my attention to the project before we finally started it years back. I thank we have fulfilled it.

“We have lots of celebrities that are living here. Some started their career here. They can hangout here as well. We thank lots of celebrities that made the event thick and the Uptown crew.”

Kwame is also the CEO of Orisun TV, Prime360TV and TEN brand and Virtual Media Network Limited. He graduated from Ogun State University, Ago Iwoye (now Olabisi Onabanjo University), where he studied Zoology (Fisheries and Hydro Biology) from 1988 to 1992.

He had worked with Star FM and OGBC2 FM before establishing his own media outfit some years ago.
