Controversial actress, Cossy Orjiakor, has called on the Nigerian government to do something about the uniforms of the Nigeria Police, which she said are too readily available for hoodlums to buy to carry out their wicked activities.
Cossy advised Nigerians not to stop at any checkpoint where there is not police or army vans in sight as such people may be fake officers, who have the intention of robbing people.
The actress explained that she is making the cry because of the police uniforms she got for her new film entitled ‘Power Girls’ looked too real to be fake, saying anyone who wears such will never be doubted as a police officer.
“It’s so easy to get hold of real police uniform and I pray the authorities make it compulsory for each police check point to have a police car.
“Lots of robbery by touts parading as uniformed men, please don’t stop for police/army that don’t have their patrol cars on sight. My thoughts though,” she said
“See what I mean, if I am a robber, I can wear this right now and rob. Uniforms are so cheap to get. Maybe I will let the DPO know about this,” she suggested.
