Nigerian singer, Lynxxx, has disclosed that music is not the only things that brings money to him, but other ventures.

He told Thisday Style that he was prompted to start his own record label because in 2004, he and his colleague were in search of a record deal, but they were rejected, which made them develop the drive to establish Syndik8 Records.

According to him, “In 2004, I started a company, Syndik8 Records with my partner, Ikon with a couple of artists. We had formed that record label because everybody we went to, seeking a record deal rejected us and then we decided to start out own.”

The hard working singer, who is not in a rush or in competition with others in the industry, further listed some of his other businesses he is into to keep body and soul alive.

“We also started a media company that branded corporate bodies. Alongside these, we started a clothing line and have sold thousands of shirts over the years and are in the process of opening our flagship store here in Lagos. I also have a company called The Arena that provides mobile solutions, builds applications and so on, and another that handles corporate branding and advertising,” he stated.

Lnyxxx said he is a self-trained graphic artist, web designer and mobile coder.
