Following the recent victory recorded by the Nigerian military officials after it flushed out members of the Boko Haram terrorist group from Gulak, in the Madagali local government area of Adamawa state.
The Defence Headquarters (DHQ) via its Twitter account, informed that Bara, Gulani local government area of neighboring Yobe state, was also cleansed of insurgents as well.
Below are some of the pictures of captured members of the sect following the ongoing war against them.
Meanwhile, reports reveal that the residents of Gulak town, burst into wild celebration in Yola on Friday, February 27, after they were informed that their homeland had been freed from the control of Boko Haram, which captured the town last year.
The liberation of Gulag comes a day after President Jonathan visited the troops at Mubi in Adamawa state as well as Baga in Borno state.
However, there is hope that the insurgents would completely be flushed out very soon following President Goodluck Jonathan’s unveiling of three National security documents for the different security problems facing the country, especially Boko Haram insurgency.
