The issue of marital challenges to a large extent is getting a slow response as to how issues can be well managed with escalating to a divorce. Despite the various programmes aired on the various media platforms on how to have a sustainable relationship, some people are yet to practice some new ideas which can bring about quality change in the union.

While some women hope and wish for their husbands to be of help in whatever they are doing, some women still feel saddened when their husbands do not lay a rendering hand to them while in the kitchen cooking or washing all with the mentality that the woman is the weaker vessel.

TVC presenter, Morayo Afolabi-Brown in one of her recent programmes observed by Nigeriafilms.com questioned ‘why do men act in position of authority thereby subjecting the woman,’ and while trashing the issues with various suggestions, the OAP revealed that her husband does help her in the kitchen.

She stated that she cannot imagine herself being in the kitchen and asking her husband to come join her in cooking but was advised on the best way to go about luring him to the kitchen without him picking offense.
