Before the last quarter of 2014, not many know who Tayo Faniran was, but by the end of 2014, he was all over the place with members of the press chasing him for press interviews.

Even when he dares to walk on the streets of Lagos, many people stare at him and for those who are brave enough, they rush to him for photographs.

To put it straight, by the end of 2014, Tayo became a celebrity for participating in the annual Big Brother Africa (BBA) competition in South Africa.

Though he did not win the coveted $300,000 prize of the show, but coming second in the competition has fetched him a lot already.

It would be recalled that after the show, he became a good friend of D’Banj, a popular music artiste in Nigeria and like the Yorubas will loosely say, ‘when a leaf stays long on a soap, it becomes one itself’.

Tayo has now joined the music industry and has released a single entitled ‘Caterpillar’, which features Ebisole

Tayo hails from Oyo state and welcomed a child from his girlfriend while still in the BBA competition.
