Much has been said about the quality of songs being churned out today and there seems to be an unanimous believe that there is an overwhelming amount of crappy songs making the rounds at the moment.

Sadly, the drop in quality in the music is justified in some circles with the saying that the fans actually like ‘quack’ songs.

But ace music producer, K-Solo, in an exclusive chat with Nigeriafilms.com, disclosed that he does not really think or accept the saying that commercial beats or music sell more than lyrically rich songs in Nigeria.

K-Solo explained that artistes going into commercial music only observed that because it is the latest trend. He said, “When you are in Rome, act like the Romans.” He argued that some of these commercial songs have good lyrics, stating that those with poor beats will fade out.

Commenting on his then controversial marital travails with his ex-wife, Kikelomo, the producer said he would want to keep his family life private because it is his past, which was a failure.

When asked if he is still on speaking terms with his former wife, “day and night got no relationship, relationship kee?” he responded.

Meanwhile, the producer has disclosed that he would be releasing a collaboration album in 2015. According to him, the album will consist of artistes he has ever worked with in the past.
