Mother of four superstar actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde is currently in the US to promote her new flick, ‘Blood In The Lagoon’, directed by Teco Benson.

The screen goddess was interviewed on Great Day Houston and she disclosed how she uses her celebrity status for activism.

Omosexy, as the actress is fondly referred to by her teeming fans, encouraged people to be confident and to also know their rights.

Speaking about ‘Blood in the Lagoon’, Omotola revealed that it tells of the great demarcation between the rich and the poor in the African society, especially in Nigeria.

The film is expected to be premiered in Houston this weekend.

‘Blood in the Lagoon’ tells a story of George Dibiya (Okey Uzoeshi), who was born into abject poverty. George ekes out a living in the treacherous murky waters of the waste deluged Lagos lagoon and just like thousands in the many slums of Nigeria; his life story is already written and sealed by fate even before he came into the world.

But after the murder of his brother, George sets out not to allow his brother’s dream to die and along the way gets entangled with the stunningly beautiful scarlet (Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde).

The movie stars Omotola Jalade-Ekehinde, Okey Uzoeshi, Ufoma Ejenobor, Akin Lewis, Eddie Ugboma and others.
