Chairman of the Copyright Society Of Nigeria (COSON), Chief Tony Okoroji, has called on former Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Chairman, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu to apologise to him for letting him (Okoroji) down.
Okoroji claims that he had developed substantial respect for Ribadu for his ability to put up a world class organisation within such a short period of time, but felt disappointed when he (Ribadu) announced his interest to contest in the vacant Adamawa State governorship position.
The COSON boss questioned why with Ribadu’s pedigree and his earlier attempt at contesting for the position of the Presidency, which he lost, would now want contest for the gubernatorial seat.
He urged the former EFCC boss openly explain why he had to take such a decision thereby making millions of Nigerians to doubt his credibility. “I may not have a vote in Adamawa, but someone please tell Ribadu that he owes me an apology.”
