Fast rising singer, Taiwo Elizabeth, popularly known as Eazy Lizy, has denied rumours that she once dated some popular artistes in Nigeria before getting her bearing in the industry.
According to the Afro-pop singer, she only did collaborations with some known artistes and not that they were dating adding that it’s just a pity that in this country Nigeria, once a woman works with other male artistes, people end up saying that they are dating.
“I always tell people that we have this funny and unbecoming mentality. Once a female artiste is working with a male artiste, rumour starts flying around that they are dating. I did a collaboration with Pasuma sometime ago, I did another one with Obesere sometime ago, and people started saying that we were dating. Isn’t that funny? The fact that you feature an artiste in your album does not mean you are dating the person. It’s a crazy mentality. It used to baffle me before, but as time went on, I understood better. However, it taught me to be careful and cautious especially in public,” she stated.
