It has been observed that some public figures in Nigeria are having sleepless nights over the way they gain more weights. Though some people on the +12 side have given up on doing things to stop weight loss, the same cannot be said of celebrities, who are doing everything possible to be on the slim side.
Few weeks ago, popular comedienne, Lepacious Bose posted a picture of her on the internet, where she revealed how happy she is to lose about 35kg of weight for eight months.
In the same vein, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, fondly called ‘Omosexy’, may have also become worried with her weight, which forced her to the gym. She posted on her Instagram page, stating that she’s at the gym to get back her sexy shape.
Also, Ngozi Ezeonu, who is known to be on the ‘big’ side, recently appeared in some pictures looking slimmer, which spurred speculations that she was sick.
Recently, veteran actor, Richard Mofe-Damijo, better known as RMD, has been in the news due to his new slimmer appearance, which caused many to think he was sick. In a recent interview, the actor revealed that his daughter forced him to do a lot of exercises, which brought about his new, but controversial appearance.
On the part of Nollywood actress, Adaora Ukoh who is known to be a plus-size, recently released photographs looking slimmer.
Kate Henshaw is also having sections at the gym with plus-size ladies, where she teaches them some working out skills and does exercises with them.
No doubt, working out is now becoming a trend in the industry and many celebs are doing everything within their reach to work on their shapes. Being big in size is no more a sign of good living, but bad health, at least the aforementioned stars can attest to this.
