The 2011 winner of Star Quest, Beauty Aghedo, aka B’Dash (D’Beats Group), has grabbed an ambassadorial. She is now the brand ambassador of Healing Wings Foundation, an NGO saddled with the responsibility of empowering the youth, the vulnerable and women.
This will now make Beauty to adopt HWF as her pet project and initiate programmes that will showcase the HWF as an NGO that is committed to the welfare of the masses.
She will also support community health and empowerment programmes with all available resources, encourage and gather friends, colleagues, and associates to support HWF financially, stand as the consultant to HWF, organize and sponsor Cancer Awareness and Screening Programmes in both the rural and urban communities for the benefit of the masses.
Speaking on the deal, Beauty noted that, “I cannot do this alone, I need the support of the government, corporate bodies, media, and entertainers to ensure that the youths are empowered to reduce crimes and poverty in order to create self-employment for the youths: nevertheless, let us join hands to stop the terrible scourge of premature death and poverty in Nigeria.”
According to the Project Coordinator, Sam Oladunjoye, HWF is a “public health and empowerment programme initiated to assist Nigerians suffering from cancer and other related diseases, to rekindle the hope of the masses.”
