Son of late Afrobeat legend, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, Seun, is no doubt aiming to fit into the big shoe his father left behind. The musician has been in the forefront of clamouring for a better Nigeria, a struggle his late dad fought till the last.
Even though the young singer has not suffered several incarcerations as Fela, Seun, from the look of things, is never afraid to spend time behind bars fighting for the struggle.

Few days ago, he led a protest in Lagos, which was reportedly disrupted by the police, who fired tear gas at the peaceful demonstrators.

In honour of his fights and music, Seun Kuti will be hosted today at the Industry Nite in Lagos. The platform has honoured Nigerian stars in the past including D’Banj and many others.
