Nigeria’s own Chiwetel Ejiofor who hasn’t been home for a very long time, will finally come home to motherland for the premiere of the Movie Half of a Yellow Sun.The movie will be screened in Nigeria, Australia, US, UK, the Middle East and Portugal,
The BAFTA winner and Best Actor nominee at the last Oscars should be in the Country by April 12, As the premiere is set to hold on that day.
The nationwide cinema release is however slated for April 25, 2014 and is widely expected to bring forth positive results on its first week. The book was written by Nigeria’s own Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie.
The characters in the movie include A list of Nollywood and Hollywood stars like Thandie Newton, Anika Noni Rose, Genevieve Nnaji, Zack Orji, Wale Ojo, Okechukwu Ukeje and veteran singer Onyeka Onwenu with Chiwetel Ejiofor headlining the project.
