Shedding light on why she wrote Missing Link, she said, ”my inspiration for Missing Link came about from a college project in which my thesis was to explore how communication breakdown can cause unintended consequences.
“Through this research I decided to write the screenplay in order to show some facets of my theory. I wanted to do something out of the ordinary not the typical Nollywood story but definitely something multicultural.
“It was very important to me not to portray Nigeria in a negative light as I brought to life the various characters. I also wanted to showcase the consequential challenges of different forms of communication breakdown.”
