Members of the Ukrainian parliament threw decorum into the gutters when they engaged in a free-for-all fight.

The fight reportedly broke out after a heated debate over the choice of a lingua franca for the former Soviet Union country. Some members were against the choice of Russian language as the second official language in the area Russian language is dominant.

The pro-western opposition party wants to see Ukrain become independent of Russian influences. The President Viktor Yanukovych’s party supporters are behind the Russian speaking east.

Meanwhile, some injured members were hospitalized after the brawl.
