The Comic Season Film that has been on for the past 24 days between the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) and Babatunde Omidina, who is popularly known as Baba Suwe, has finally come to an end today.

Judge of the Lagos High Court in Ikeja, Justice Yetunde Idowu, had ordered that the NDLEA release the Yoruba comic act by today, November 4, if the alleged suspected narcotic drug in not found on him.

Appearing in court today in a federal government marked white Toyota bus FG 220 T02, under fierce looking security men at about some minutes past eight, Baba Suwe was dressed in a creamy guinea brocade buba and shokoto.

He was met outside by the waiting fans, who jubilated at his release by the NDLEA when his bail conditions were accepted by the court with a shout, Baba Suwe, Oyagbe ti, Meaning, Baba Suwe can never excrete. He was hurriedly driven out of the court premises after the judgment.
Speaking after the hearing, Bamidele Aturu, his lawyer, said, “This is a victory for the fight for human right abuse, a victory for Democracy and the rule of law.

Baba Suwe was arrested on October 12 on the suspicion of ingesting what was suspected to be narcortic drugs, as indicated by the scanners at the Murtala Mohammed Airport, Ikeja, when he was about to board a Paris bound flight.
