As the general election of the Directors’ Guild of Nigeria (DGN) hots up, the major battle for the post of the presidency is obviously between veterans Fred Amata and Teco Benson.
Although Fred and Teco are best of friends, the politics of DGN has tentatively ‘torn them apart’ as both of them have been campaigning to outshine one another during the election slated for 1 and 2 September this year.
Another award-winning director, Dickson Iroegbu, is also contesting the coveted presidential seat, but he has been described the weakest link sandwiched between Teco and Fred.
