When MI’s One Naira broke on the internet, majority fell in love with the lyrics, the melody and most especially WAJE’s voice on the chorus; not just for the sonority but also for the romanticism in her vocals.
The chemistry had so much effect that some fans began to suggest more to the relationship than just music, and from there, a light rumor of an affair got around, especially when the upcoming diva wrote on twitter she was with MI in the studio.
When asked about the speculations Waje’s response was “saying that I’m dating MI is just like saying that I’m dating P-square, I featured on “Do Me” which turned out to be a huge song and they are producing for my album and what’s happening with MI is pretty much same, I featured in his song and his also producing some songs for my coming album, what we have is a great working relationship that’s all. I’m just happy with the outcome and acceptance that stemmed from working with these wonderful guys.”.
Her video for single ”So Inspired” is currently topping the chats on various music platforms, WAJE’s purpose on the joint is to inspire young people, females especially to continuously aspire for greatness regardless of the drawbacks in their environment and life in general.
In the video WAJE connects with the oppressed woman, as she plays the role of a distressed and abused female who wouldn’t give up on herself. Hopefully more women will feel empowered after watching the video.
