It has been over a year since former lovebirds – Singer Timaya and Nollywood actress Empress Njamah went their separate ways.
Despite the bitter breakup and endless war of words, the best-selling singer-performer is not relenting in pushing Njamah’s cousin who was living in Empress’ home before moving in with Timaya at his Marwa Gardens residence in Lagos. Not even the abrupt end of Timaya’s relationship with Ms Njamah stopped him from opening his cheque-book to sign her cousin Recoba to his ‘Dem Mama Soldiers’ crew.
The Rivers State born Timaya who avoided making any comment as regards to Empress, told us that he is very excited to be promoting his crew.
‘I’m glad they don’t sound like me and they are doing real street and commercial music. The boys are talented enough to become another Timaya’, he says.
The Timaya-led ‘Dem Mama crew’ includes Alliena, 2solo, T.J 2solo and Recoba, who have all played a role or two in his previous albums.
After the release of Timaya’s third studio album ‘DE REBIRTH‘, he now seems to be focusing attention on Recoba who recently released a new video ‘E no easy to blow‘…
