Music producer and singer, Justice Okey Martins, popularly known as J Martins, has debunked the rumour that he has parted ways with Paul and Peter Okoye a.k.a.P-Square, over the ownership of the hit song, E No Easy.
Reacting to the story published in a soft-sell magazine this week, J Martins said there was no iota of truth in the said story.
According to him, Peter and Paul are his brothers and his cordial relationship with them is still as intact as ever.
He said that “E No Easy is not my song. I only produced it and P-Square featured me in it. So, when I learnt about the rumour that I had a fight with P Square over the ownership of the song, I was just laughing because it is a baseless information. I wonder where the rumour came from.
“Peter and Paul are God’s sent to me. They have helped me a lot and are still helping me. Our relationship is beyond music; it is more of a family thing and no devil can come in-between us,” he satated.
Since he made his debut with the hit song, Good Or Bad, some years back, he has been enjoying a steady rise to stardom.
At the moment, he has established himself as a singer and producer to reckon with.
He, however, owes his success to God and P-Square, saying “these guys actually gave me their support to ride on. They provided me with the platform to showcase my talent to the world. It wouldn’t have been that easy without their support.”
Meanwhile, J Martins whose fingers are behind many wave-making songs in the country, has released the video of Jupa, another hit song from his current album.
