The Little Stars, a company founded by these two delectable beauties, Abebi Akerele and Aderonke Ademiluyi, recently organized a feast in honour of the motherless babies in commemoration of the Children’s Day. The event which also coincided with the official opening of the organisation had a fashion fare and varied musical presentation from the Igwe Crew and at Fantasyland Ikoyi, Lagos penultimate Saturday.
“The idea behind this is to give something back to the orphanages. The event is supported by Ethnic Models and many other brand sponsors. This first of its kind event was launched to build a platform for children from different backgrounds in Lagos and interact amongst each other without prejudice. These children need love. Their lives are full of uncertainty, conflict and heartbreak. The basic of the party is to make them have a feel of the season too, after all, they are part of the society and they must have fun like other children. More importantly, we are trying to create awareness between children in the homes and the ones in the society to expose them to the society. Little Stars is using this opportunity to introduce children initiative called IMPACT, an initiative that is aimed at helping the helpless or less privileged in our society.” Abebi and Rukkies said at the star-studded and impressive gathering.
