Trump: ‘Why you should remain in the US’, Davido advises African Americans
Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has warned African Americans in the United States not to relocate to Africa following the victory of Donald Trump at the polls.
The Afrobeats Star, while stating his reason for wanting the African Americans to remain abroad said all isn’t well with Africa currently and that the economies of most countries in the continent are in shambles.
Urging them to shelve such a plan, Davido, in a recent interview said, “It’s not cool back home. The economy now is in shambles”.
Furthermore, the singer clarified that his statement wasn’t to demarket Africa, stressing that he aims to promote the continent through his music.
He added that entertainment is what’s giving Africa a smokescreen to make it look good.
Recall that some prominent people, especially African Americans, have been threatening to relocate from the USA after Trump’s reelection as President.
