Actress Ngozi Nwosu blasts Abia State for abandoning her when she was ill
Veteran Nigerian actress, Ngozi Nwosu, has ended her official relationship with her state, Abia for allegedly and abandoning her during her illness.
In a recent interview, the movie star said if Abia State wants her to render any service for them, they must be ready to pay her heavily because they lack support for their own.
“I have personally decided that there is nothing my Abia State will call me for, that I would go for free.
“They would pay through their nose for me to go. I’m from Arochukwu local government area of the state.
“It was the fame I had through the roles I played in a series that helped me when I needed help because the person who reached out to the Lagos state government to save my life did that because she loves me as her favorite actor,” she said.
The 61-year-old battled a kidney-related ailment in 2012.
