‘I’m homeless’, Aunty Ramota appeals for help
Internet sensation and Nollywood actress, Ramota Adeotu, popularly known as Aunty Ramota, has appealed to the general public to help her solve the issue of lack of accommodation she is facing at the moment.
A philanthropist Agiye Amira, widely known on Instagram as Isaamira Food Bank posted the video of the actress on Instagram.
In the video, Aunty Ramota disclosed that she is currently stranded after being asked to vacate where she was living because the person she was living with got married.
The actress expressed deep concern about her situation, adding that a man who had been helping her build her house suddenly stopped the project due to personal issues.
To worsen the situation, she alleged that her management team had stolen all her money and even deleted her social media accounts, including her popular TikTok page, making it difficult for her to regain financial stability.
“I worked so hard, but they kept cheating me because they thought I wouldn’t know how much we were really making,” she lamented in the video.
The actress stated that she now finds herself unable to rent a new place and is determined to complete the construction of her own home.
“Someone kindly offered to rent a space for me, but I told them I want to finish building my house, even if it’s just one room, so I can finally have a place to call my own,” she added.
