I feel older than those born in the 90s – Ayra Star

Nigerian Afrobeats singer, Ayra Starr has complained that she feels older than people born in the 90s even though she was born in 2002.

According to the 21-year-old who showed worry about how her well-being has been affected, her demanding schedule is making her feel older than her years.

In a recent interview she granted in Nairobi, Kenya, the award-winning singer confessed that the pressures of her artistic commitments are taking a toll on her vitality.

“I have met people who were born in the 90s and they’re so vibrant and so young. I’m old and I was just born in 2002,” she declared.

The artiste further opened up about her desire for rest amidst her hectic life.

“I want to stay home, I want to sleep,” she admitted.

She also opened up on her musical journey, “I feel like the more I make music, the more I recognise what my path is and what I’m trying to do.”
