Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Mary Njoku, in an Instagram post, spoke about the challenges of parenting.
The movie star, who is also a mother of three, stated that raising children is very unpredictable.
Njoku expressed how her emotions often fluctuate as she navigates the complexities of parenting.
“One minute it feels like I’m nailing this parenting, and the next, I’m wondering, ‘How did we get here?’” she shared.
Noting the challenges, she likened parenting to a “real jungle” where one must be prepared for surprises at every turn.
She emphasised the need for boundless, unconditional love, likening it to agape; the highest form of love.
“Hmmm. The love a mother has for a child has to be agape o! Cos dem dey test me o!” she lamented.
