Hardship: Funke Akindele distributes food items in Lagos
As part of efforts to address the issue of inflation and hardship in the country, actress and filmmaker, Funke Akindele has distributed food items to residents of Shomolu, Yaba, and Mushin in Lagos State.
The movie star turned politician shared the video of the community outreach programme stressing that the business of alleviating poverty in the society should not be left in the hands of the government.
Akindele also used the opportunity to promote her upcoming movie, “Everybody Loves Jenifa”.
She captioned her post, “Jenifa‘s joy is contagious! Sharing food, laughter, and love with our community. Sewing seeds of kindness in different local govt areas in Lagos state. First stops are (Shomolu, Yaba, Mushin).”
Akindele’s gesture has earned widespread praise from colleagues and fans alike.
